Jake & Ashley have been sweethearts since high school.  Jake was a frequent visitor to Ashley’s home as he was friends with her older brother.  One day Jake took notice of this “little sister”!  I remember Ashley’s Mom saying how wonderful it was to have him as an “official son” in the family.  Here is what I noticed, Jake adores Ashley and Ashley adore Jake.  Their long term friendship combined with their deep commitment and love is such a gift to see.

The only request for the wedding day from Jake was to have some images on the beach.  We traveled to Leo Carrillo State beach just before the reception to capture these images.  This is one of Jake’s favorite spots and where he proposed to Ashley!  The reception was held at the

Historic Camarillo Ranch The house was built in 1892 by 28-year-old Adolfo Camarillo for his wife Isabel and their young family.   This is one of my favorite location for wedding receptions.  The newly renovated red barn offered a great back drop for some fun images.  We took Ashley and Jake’s engagement photos on the property.
