Several months ago I discovered this video on TED talk by Brene Brown. The timing seemed to fit the path in my life as I have been struggling with discovering and gaining clarity on what path I am to travel. I have had a determined desire to live a life that is more fully authentic and from my heart. One of the big questions that I have asked is how ?
One of the things Brene Brown talks about is living whole hearted. Those that live whole hearted are people who live from their whole heart. They have a strong sense of love and belonging. How? They simply BELIEVE they are worthy of Love and belonging.
I want to live and be a woman with compassion, imperfections, passion, courage and authenticity. I want to love as a whole hearted in the most vulnerable way. I want to live and tell the real raw vulnerable story of who I am deep from every place inside my heart.
So why this story with these images. Because sometimes to risk it all to become vulnerable it takes the teachings of a child. You see…I trust Taylor, Gage and Brynn with my vulnerability. They let me practice with them. They modeled vulnerability in it’s truest fashion. They allowed me to just “be” and together through their example we captured moments that will for me be doorways to a marking point where I discovered with them that vulnerability is another term for living beautifully.
Thank you my little buddies for sharing your hearts you may never understand the impact you have made.
BTW: Just today I was working on writing this blog and I received a text from Sara, their Mom. The text said: Hi Leila just thought I’d send you a pic of our lil’ pumpkin to give you a smile today
Love ya! Not only did I smile but I smiled all the way to my heart. I am amazed and thankful for what shows up in my life once I become open to receive it. Thank you Sarah and Brandon for sharing your life and children with me.

What absolutely beautiful photos and adorable children. And yes, their innocence melts my heart as well.
